You were the best man, the most human … human being that I’ve ever known and no one will ever convince me that you told me a lie, so … there. I was so alone … and I owe you so much. But please, there’s just one more thing, one more miracle, Sherlock, for me, don’t be dead.
After watching the final problem, I finally decided to try my hand at painting, John Watson. It has been a while since I have done any digital paintings, so I’m a tad rusty.
For this piece I used the following brushes; fine detail oil, bristle oil, wet acrylic, soft charcoal, splatter brushes, as well as detail and oily blenders for the finer details and to blend everything together.
The full size version of this painting can be found on my deviantart page here. (x).
Why, you stuck up… half-witted… scruffy-looking… Nerf-herder!
For this piece i used a mix of soft charcoal, wet oil and oily blender to blend.
I have finally managed to finish this piece earlier today, to go with yesterday’s post that detailed a rough outline for my WIP story; Whispers of the Past – Restoration of the Crown along with a photo of young Olivia who is a lady in waiting to Catherine of Aragon.
Today, I post a rough idea of how I picture a young James, who in the story is the Duke of Northumberland, one of the King’s close advisors and friend to Charles Brandon who try to prevent the annulment of his marriage to Catherine, and put an end to the King’s infatuation with Anne.
A rough draft snippet of the story can be found via this post.
Meet me out on the balcony for a night to remember…
A little imagined piece that sets the scene in chapter 16 of my Royal Change fic.
For this piece I had to manipulate a photo in order to use it for reference, before painting digitally on canvas using mostly Oils, wet acrylic, blenders and a few texture brushes of my own creation.
Because our abilities don’t fit in the outside world, we live in places like this, where no one can find us.
I’m not too sure of this one. In a way I do like it, but the other part of me thinks there is something missing. I may re-do it at some point in the future.
Every great dream begins with a dreamer.~ Harriet Tubman
I decided to paint a young Judi Dench this time, I’m quite happy with how this one turned out.
